BLACKED OUT ATLANTA
After moving back to Atlanta from NYC I realized I didn't know jack about the city, it's people, and the culture that embodies what it truly means to be and ATLien. So after spending a solid year knocking about Atlanta I decided to start Blacked Out Atlanta with my good friend Chris "Penguin" Campana. Our goal when we started this thing was to meet people and do something new and exciting every time we stepped foot out the door. But mostly it was to help people in the A get the exposure and recognition they deserve.
While that name most definitely has a drinking connotation, and trust me we do like to drink. BOA is more than just that. It is our way to connect people. We go to everything from late night band parties, to the latest and greatest dj's, comedy shows, art galleries, and oh yeah bars. We want to bring people together. We want people to step out of their comfort zones. Go to events that they normally wouldn't know about much less go to. See different parts of town and really get to know people from other walks of life.
BOA is more than just a website it is a lifestyle. It is the idea that there are interesting people, events, and things to do. Go out there and get after it.
Remember to always love living life and everything else will just be better.
